ForgeGym is Inverness' original 24-hour gym, founded on a passion for strength sports and built around a strong community of dedicated members.

They approached me needing a complete brand refresh and digital overhaul. Their existing identity didn’t reflect the energy and community spirit at the heart of their gym. They needed new branding, a modern website that staff could easily update themselves, and a physical space transformation that matched their renewed visual identity.

Mobile-first for on-the-go members

Gym members check class schedules, book sessions, and track their progress while commuting or between sets. The website was built mobile-first to match how ForgeGym's community actually uses it.
Layouts prioritise quick access to essential functions - membership information, contact details, and booking - load instantly

Branding that reflects strength and community

ForgeGym needed a visual identity as bold as its members. The new branding combines industrial strength with community warmth: heavy typography, confident colour, and imagery that celebrates real people doing real work.
The rebrand extended beyond digital into the physical space. Wall graphics, signage, and branded materials now reinforce the identity at every touchpoint. Staff can update the website independently using the custom CMS, maintaining brand consistency without needing designer intervention.

High-energy video that sets the tone

The homepage opens with a dynamic video showcasing ForgeGym's atmosphere - members pushing limits, the clang of weights, the energy of the space. It's an immediate statement of what ForgeGym stands for.
The video hero replaces generic stock imagery with authentic footage of the gym and its community. It loads quickly without compromising performance and sets expectations before visitors read a single word.
